Ductless Systems

Do you want to cool a room without a noisy window unit? Ductless air conditioning systems might be the solution for you. They are available in many sizes and shapes that were designed to fit the decor of any room. 

Ductless air conditioners are meant for a home that is without central air conditioning or that has a room without air ducts. Ductless systems have a small outdoor unit with an equally small indoor venting panel. The image here is an example of an LG model where the indoor venting panel is covered by a picture frame. Heat Pumps

Heat Pumps are a dual-function system. “Heat Pump” is a term for a type of air conditioner where the refrigeration cycle can be reversed, producing heat instead of cold in the indoor environment. They are also commonly referred to, and marketed as, a reverse cycle air conditioner. Using an air conditioner in this way to produce heat is significantly more efficient than electric resistance heating.

Fred Ridler, Abel Onsite's owner, has consulted for many complex HVAC projects. He is a Certified Indoor Environmentalist (CIE) by the Indoor Air Quality Association (IAQA) and a CIE consultant. Along with certifications as a master gas, warm air and wet heat, he does Radon Test Measurement (RMT) and is a Residential Mitigation Provider (RMP). Some of his other credentials include the American Lung Association Health House and 30 years of experience in the HVAC industry.
